Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions and Introduction

1.1. Affiliate Program: A program that enables the Partner to promote TravelManiac services in exchange for commission.

1.2. Dashboard: An online interface (Affiliate Dashboard) where the Partner tracks statistics and manages their account.

1.3. Service: An online accommodation booking system operated by TravelManiac.

2. Partner Obligations

2.1. The Partner agrees to promote TravelManiac services in accordance with good morals and applicable laws.

2.2. Prohibited practices - The Partner shall not:

• Engage in Self-referral (earning commission on own bookings).
• Create speculative, fake, or fraudulent bookings.
• Use automated bots or scraping to collect data from TravelManiac website without permission.
• Purchase keywords (PPC) containing the TravelManiac brand or its misspellings (Brand Bidding).
• Send unsolicited emails (SPAM).

3. Tracking and Cookies

3.1. TravelManiac uses cookie technology to assign visitors to Partners.

3.2. Cookie Duration (Attribution Window): The cookie is valid for 24 hours from the last click on the Partner link. If a user makes a booking after this period, the commission will not be credited.

3.3. The Last Click Wins rule applies - the commission belongs to the Partner whose link was used last before the booking.

4. Commission and Payout Terms

4.1. Commission Entitlement: The Partner is entitled to commission only from Materialized Transactions where the guest actually completed the stay and paid the full price.

4.2. Verification Period: The commission becomes payable (status Eligible) 14 days after the guest check-out.

4.3. Minimum Payout: Commission payouts are made automatically or upon request once the Partner account balance reaches $100 USD.

4.4. If the commission in a given month does not reach $100 USD, the amount rolls over to the next month.

4.5. Commission is calculated from the accommodation price excluding VAT, city taxes, and service fees.

5. License and Intellectual Property

5.1. TravelManiac grants the Partner a non-exclusive right to use logos, banners, and materials available in the Dashboard solely for promoting the Service.

5.2. The Partner shall not copy the appearance of TravelManiac website or create the impression of being an official representative.

6. Liability and Data Protection

6.1. Both parties commit to protecting personal data of customers in accordance with GDPR and other regulations. The Partner shall not share guest data with third parties.

6.2. TravelManiac is not responsible for server outages or measurement errors caused by force majeure.

7. Termination of Cooperation

7.1. TravelManiac reserves the right to terminate cooperation with immediate effect in case of violation of these terms.

7.2. In case of fraudulent conduct, the right to unpaid commission is forfeited.
