The history of the Schneider hotel is linked to the saga of pioneers who explored the southwest of Paraná and contributed to its development.
The Schneider hotel was founded in 1953, in the city of São João – PR, by Acelo Schneider and his wife, Wilma Schneider, both of German origin, coming from Rio Grande do Sul, migrated to the southwest of Paraná, attracted by the dismemberment of land and wealth from the pine forests originating in the region.
In 1963, at the invitation of loggers and settlers, Acelo and his wife, Dona Wilma, decided to settle permanently in the city of Sulina – PR.
Despite all the difficulties, the first hotel was created at the time, a colonial mansion, with a comfortable porch, where guests (tourists, travelers, drovers) spent hours chatting.
Although the flow of tourists was still timid, however, with persistence and dedication to work, the family overcame all obstacles.
In 2003, with the investment from Thermas de Sulina, the businessman, Hilário Schneider, son of the couple Acelo and Wilma Schneider, adapted the company, growing with Southern tourism, always aiming to offer special service to customers.
Today, the hotel has apartments with air conditioning, television and minibar. The kitchen offers guests and visitors the best in typical regional food. We work as a family, and this is very important, as we do everything with love, care and a lot of dedication. This way, we managed to overcome all the difficulties.
