Myrtos Beach
Μύρτος
northwest
A half-kilometre arc of white pebbles hemmed in by 2 headlands with cliffs, which give the water a deep turquoise colour. It's one of the most photographed beaches in Greece, and the whole sweep is visible from the switchback road above.
Tip: The entry into the water is steep and the white pebbles underwater are slippery — a demanding beach for weaker swimmers and young children.
