• •Guests may be required to pay the following charge at the property: Peru Value-Added Tax (VAT) at 18%. A VAT exemption is available to travelers who present a valid passport and tourist visa showing they are not a resident of Peru. The exemption applies only to stays in Peru not exceeding 60 days.

• •If guests stay less than 59 days in Peru guests will not have to pay the IGV. Based on the country's tax laws, Peruvian citizens and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru must pay the IGV (General Sales Tax) of 10%. To be exempt from this 10% VAT supplement, a copy of the immigration card (TAM) and passport must be presented. Both documents are needed to be exempt from paying this supplement. If the 2 documents are not presented, the supplement must be paid. Business guests who request an invoice will also be required to pay this 10% IGV supplement, regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. The supplement is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation.
